  • Are Meals Included?

    No, but there are snacks each morning (bagels, coffee/tea, fruit), as well as during breaks.

  • Are there CEUs (continuing education unit) available?

    NCEUs are for California MFTs. These may be applicable to other licenses; you would need to check with your licensing board.

  • Can you describe a few applications I will be able to apply the training??

    You will learn how to develop generative trance states in yourself and others. This will help you understand and learn how to construct, deconstruct, and reconstruct psychological identity and realities; in other words, to create states for transformation, healing, and creating significantly new realities..

  • Every day starts with optional yoga and in the evening there are optional evening presentations (e.g..special topics, drumming, “trance follies” night). I can see myself wanting to get involved in everything 🙂 Are these included ‘free’ in the total cost? Or do I need to pay for these when I attend them?

  • How many people are in each week?

    We typically have 30-40 in weeks 1 and 2; week 3 is limited to 25.

  • The hotel is somewhat expensive. Is there a cheaper hotel where I can stay?

    You might be able to get a somewhat cheaper motel, but you’d be away from the workshop environment. We recommend sharing a room with others; many people have a roommate. Let us know if you want us to help you hook up with a roommate; please email us if you have specfic preferences (gender, diet, other concerns).

  • What airport should I fly into?

    San Diego Airport is generally the easiest; it is about a 40 minute ride to the workshop site. Los Angeles airport is about 2 hour drive, depending on traffic. Palomar airport is a small regional airport that runs shuttles to LAX; it is about 10 min. from the workshop site.

  • What should I bring?

    A pen and a note pad.

  • What should I wear?

    San Diego in July is warm during the day, but can cool down in the evening. Casual wear is most typical; wear whatever allows you to be comfortable. The resort has several swimming pools, so bring your swim suit.

  • What time do we start and what time do we finish?

    Registration on the first day of each workshop starts at 8 am. All workshop days start at 9 am and end around 6 pm. In addition, there are evening presentations offered by the assistants. On the last day of each week, we end at 2 pm
